The Local Coordination Committees in Syria
The LCC was able to document 117 martyrs by the end of Sunday; included in today’s count are 2 women and 14 children. 55 martyrs were reported in Damascus and its suburbs, including 12 bodies from Daraya who were found in Mowasa Hospital and 10 martyrs as a result of aerial shelling in Dar Al-Asafeer. 16 martyrs were reported in Aleppo; 17 in Daraa; 7 in Homs; 6 in Deir Ezzor; 8 in Hama; 5 in Idlib; and 3 in Quneitra
The Local Coordination Committees was able to document 251 points of shelling: 79 areas were subjected to mortar shelling; 129 areas wre subjected to artillery shelling; and 43 areas were subjected to missile attacks. The regime conducted aerial assaults on 14 areas across Syria, dropping barrel bombs on 14 cities and cluster bombs on 2. The Free Syrian Army clashed with regime forces in 136 areas, liberating Al-Rihanieh Military Camp and Tishreen Dam. The FSA was also able to repel several attempts by regime forces to storm Daraya and the towns and cities of Eastern Ghouta. The FSA captured several regime-owned armored personnel carriers and a large number of soldiers

Damascus Suburbs: Qasemiya: Wounded have fallen due to shelling the city by mortars and rocket launchers by the regime forces, the residentials are in state of panic

Quneitra: Breqa: Fierce mortar shelling by the regime forces along with fierce clashes between the FSA and regime forces

Aleppo: Manbaj: The FSA gains control of Tishreen Dam in Manbaj City

Damascus: Maza: gunfire was reported in Eastern Villas Area near Shafeai Mosque in conjunction with security deployment in the area

Damascus: Assali: Renewed shelling in the neighborhood, 2 shells landed in Madeniya Area

Damascus Suburbs:Deir Assafer: 10 children were martyred and many wounded have fallen (including 2 women) as a result of shelling by 2 cluster bombs at a children playground

Daraa: Othman: 4 martyrs and 20 wounded were reported after the bus they were riding was targeted by the regime army’s checkpoint personnel. The bus was on the road linking Othman and Khirbet Ghazaleh

Damascus Suburbs: Jdeidet Artouz: The 153rd regiment is shelling the town’s orchards

Hama: Al-Zakat: A number of wounded, including children, were reported after fierce Shilka shelling from the regime checkpoit at Hasraya

Damascus: Qaboun: Regime forces are conducting a raid campaign behind the a group of buildings at the first entrance to the neighborhood

Damascus: Hajar Al-Aswad: Aerial shelling and missile shelling have caused the destruction of a kindergarten and a number of other properties

Daraa: Tal Shehab: Fierce shelling by the tanks located at Serbat Hajana towards the town

Damascus Suburbs: Mouadamyeh: Heavy artillery shelling from the headquarters of the 4th Dickinson is reported, with 3 shells landing per minute

Hama: Regime forces stormed Ban Qebli neighborhood and launched a campaign of raids and indiscriminate arrests

Daraa: Dozens of wounded were reported due to the heavy shelling from missile launchers and heavy artillery. Shelling targeted the towns of Sahwa, Mseifra and Om Walad and resulted in the destruction of several homes

Damascus Suburbs: Rihanieh: The Free Syrian Army has taken control of the Rihanieh Camp belonging to the General Command and has captured all personnel inside

Damascus Suburbs: Daraya: 12 corpses were discovered at Mowasa Hospital; they were martyred under torture after having been arrested last Thursday as they were trying to flee
