The Local Coordination Committees in Syria
By the end of Monday, the LCC was able to document 168 martyrs, among them 6 women and 5 children. 90 martyrs were reported in Damascus and its suburbs, among them 28 martyrs who died under torture in Daraya and 6 martyrs in Dahadeel. 35 martyrs were reported in Aleppo; 11 in Hama; 10 in Homs; 8 in Daraa; 7 in Idlib; 4 in Quneitra; 2 in Deir Ezzor; and 1 in Raqqa

The Local Coordination Committees was able to document 248 points of shelling today: 75 areas were subjected to mortar shelling, 140 areas were subjected to artillery shelling, and 33 areas were subjected to missile attacks. Regime warplanes conducted aerial assaults over 10 areas in Syria, and used barrel bombs in 3 Syrian cities. The regime’s warplanes launched cluster bombs in 2 areas.

The Free Syrian Army clashed with regime forces in 140 areas, and liberated Poice Station #45 at the Jordanian-Syrian border. The FSA also attacked checkpoints in Quneitra and Sahwa Battalion, and repelled multiple regime attempts to storm Daraya and the cities and towns in Eastern Ghouta during fierce clashes.

Damascus Suburbs: Kesweh: The 1st Division’s headquarters and the 76th regiment fired missiles from Al-Harjala toward the southern neighborhoods of Damascus

Aleppo: Fierce clashes between the FSA and regime forces at the perimeter of Sakhour Roundabout along with explosions and mortar shelling

Damascus: Al-Zohour District: Regime forces stormed the home of opposition activist Dr. Mohamad Al-Ammar the morning of Sunday, November 25, 2012, and arrested his parents, Sahib and Iqbal, as well as his brother Youssef Al-Ammar and Bilal Koshan. Dr. Mohamad Al-Ammar is an activist and a member of the nonviolent opposition and has been arrested 5 times since the beginning of the Syrian Revolution. This marks the third time Sahib, Iqbal, and Bilal have been arrested

Damascus Suburbs: Deir Asafeer: Several wounded were reported as a
result of fierce shelling in the town

Daraa: Fierce shelling targeting the borders of Heet Town and Wadi Yarmouk

Damascus Suburbs: Mo’addamiya Al-Sham: Regime’s forces committed a
horrible massacre by field-executing dozens of people whose bodies
were found near the neighborhood of Dahadeel. The bodies belonged to
people from the neighborhoods of Nahr Aisha and Kafr Souseh. Only 6 of
the bodies were retrieved because of the snipers. The six martyrs are:
Ra’fat Okasha, Osama Karam Al-Nfeira, Mohammad Salah Ajaja, Omar
Kharouf, Bassam Al-Badawi and Osama Al-Mouzeh. They were buried in
Syria Martyrs Cemetery in the town of Mo’addamia Al-Sham

Daraa: Nawa: Intense gunfire and clashes between the Free Army and the
regime’s forces near the Maqbara barricade and the Military
Recruitment Branch were reported as electricity was cut off the
southern neighborhood in the town

Aleppo: Hreitan: Intense shelling of the town by military aircrafts was reported

Raqqa: Tabaqa: A martyr has fallen and a few others were injured in
the shelling of the town and the targeting of the Broad Street and the
Masah neighborhood by the artillery positioned in the Weather Forecast
Building as well as the targeting of Radwan Mosque by heavy
machineguns

Raqqa: Clashes between the Free Army and the regime’s forces around the Mayor’s Palace and Hajjanah Headquarters in the neighborhood of Thakanah

Damascus: Hajar Al-Aswad: Dozens of martyrs were reported after aerial shelling and missile attacks in the area

Damascus Suburbs: Rihanieh: The Free Syrian Army has taken control of the Rihanieh Camp belonging to the General Command and has captured all personnel inside

Damascus Suburbs: Daraya: 12 corpses were discovered at Mowasa Hospital; they were martyred under torture after having been arrested last Thursday as they were trying to flee

Homs: Talbiseh: Fierce mortar and artillery shelling were reported in the city, and the shelling is focused on the Mashjar district

Aleppo: Clashes between the FSA and regime forces were reported in Suliman Halabi Neighborhood

Damascus Suburbs: Jisreen: Multiple wounded were reported after regime forces shelled the area using artillery, mortars, and missiles; this also led to significant damage to homes

Lattakia: Continued artillery shelling of Masyaf Salma and Nahiet Rabia and their surrounding villages since the night was reported

Damascus Suburbs: Jdeidet Artouz: Heavy shelling from the heavy artillery located in Fadel Mountains is reported and it targets the farms and residential neighborhoods in the area

Idlib: Maaret Al-Nouman: Several wounded were reported due to the continuous aerial shelling of the eastern neighborhood. Regime forces also launched 2 air raids on the southern neighborhood, near the cemetery

Damascus: Hajar Aswad: Heavy shelling of the neighborhood with missile launchers is ongoing

Damascus: Sabina: Dozens of wounded were reported due to the heavy shelling with missile launchers of Sabina and Assali neighborhoods. This resulted in the destruction of several civilian homes

Damascus: Zabaltani: Fierce clashes between the Free Syrian Army and the regime’s army are reported in the area of Hal Market. Also, heavy gunfire in the area east of Tijara

Idlib: Atma: MiG warplanes are shelling the town and anti-aircraft weapons on Turkish ground are blocking the attacks. This is in conjunction with Turkish warplanes flying over the border of the town

Damascus Suburbs: Daraya: 5 displaced people were martyred under torture amid reports of at least 30 martyrs

Damascus Suburbs: Daraya: MiG warplanes are heavily shelling neighborhoods of the residential city

Damascus: Assali: Heavy aerial shelling of the area of Matheniya is reported

Aleppo: Marea: Fierce shelling using warplanes machine guns in the city

Idlib: Bara: A child was martyred and several wounded were reported as a result of shelling in the town

Deir Ezzor: Huseiniya: Fierce artillery shelling is reported in the town

Aleppo: Soran: Shelling Food Factory in the town by warplane

Damascus Suburbs: Erbeen: Fierce mortar shelling from the Motor Vehicles Administration building targeted the city

Damascus Suburbs: Zamalka: Clashes continue between the Free Army and the regime’s army which is trying to storm the town.

Daraa: Maarba: Fierce artillery shelling in the town. Four shells were reported to have landed within a minute

Damascus Suburbs: Darayya: A new massacre was committed by the
regime’s forces yielding 28 martyrs. They were martyred after they had
beed arrested a few days ago on the borders of the town while they
were trying to flee the shelling of their town. Of them were
identified: Osama Mazhar Al-Sharbaji, Khaled Bakri Al-Basha, Mo’tazz
Ali Matar, Mohammad Khair Matar, Mousa Ziada and Tammam Al-Zahr
