Local Coordination Committees in SyriaWednesday in Syria has ended with a total of 144 documented martyrs, including 7 children and 3 women: 39 martyrs in Aleppo, 42 martyrs in Damascus and its suburbs, 27 martyrs in Homs, 13 martyrs in Idlib, 7 martyrs in Hama, 6 martyrs in Hasakeh, 3 martyrs in each of Raqqah, Deir Ezzor, and Dara’a, and 1 martyr in Qunteira.

The committees have also documented a total of 374 points of shelling across Syria, including 13 points from warplane shelling, 2 points have been recorded from the use of phosphorus bombs, and 1 point each from cluster bombs, thermobaric bombs, and TNT barrel. Artillery shelling has been recorded as 146 points and was most violent in Damascus, followed by 130 points of mortar shelling, and 80 points of missile strikes.

FSA clashed aslo with regime forces and thugs in 133 location in which two war planes were down, the first was in Karnaz and the second in Kafar Nabouda In Hama. In Idlib FSA could liberated the military Gas Station at the International road of Aleppo-Latakia and The Residential Military Camp. As for Karmid and Shabiba camps they were targeted by heavy weapons. In Damascus and its suburbs many check points were hit by FSA in Harran Al-awamid, and Ghandour barrier in Qadam neighborhood. Damascus International Airport and Military Vehicles Dept. were also targeted by local made bombs, along with hitting the check point on Mashtal in Homs by mortars and destroying regime’s military vehicles and tanks in some cities and towns all over Syria

Aleppo: Safeera: Dozens of martyrs from the city sacrificed their lives for freedom. They were people that came out with determination and defiance to demand dignity. The Local Coordination Committees have documented the fall of 211 martyrs since the beginning of the revolution, including 42 children and 34 women. At first hey were shot at to suppress the demonstrations for the revolution, but then they were shelled with mortars, artillery, rockets, warplanes and various other kinds of weapons to randomly eradicate protestors. It is worth noting that the city witnessed yesterday the heaviest aerial shelling with cluster and vacuum bombs that resulted in the fall of 20 martyrs, a large number of wounded and massive destruction of homes and property. Note that the incessant shelling, difficulty caring for the wounded, shortage of materials and medical personnel, lack of food and heating materials, electricity and communication blackouts have made the city reach new levels of suffering. There is a catastrophic humanitarian situation and the residents appeal to human rights organizations in the Arab and Western worlds to help
