Local Coordination Committees in Syria
The number of martyrs today reached 20 so far; including 12 in Deir Ezzor, 4 in Homs, and one in each of Aleppo,Damascus Idlib and Hamouria (Damascus Suburbs)

In accordance with the Strike for Dignity, the Revolution Youth established checkpoints and set tires on fire on Meyah Street. In response to security forces attacking a funeral procession, they also initiated a demonstration and chanted for the ouster of the regime

Martyrdom of three brothers Sais Hijab al-Moughair, Bassem Moughair, and Basam Moughair at the hands of the Shabiha who also looted and burned their house.

Homs
Martyrdom of First Assistant Abdel Latif Qarret Khaled from the ranks of the State Security Branch, in Al-Waar district. He was assassinated by security forces because he aided detainees and refused to suppress demonstrators.

More than 1500 people are participating in a demonstration at the Rifai Mosque on Sheikh Lutfi Street. Shabiha are roaming the area and firing shots to intimidate protestors. Several injuries have been reported
