The truth about the bombing in Damascus

Syrians Martyrs are Killed Twice in the State’s Official Story

Many media reports have discussed the paradoxes and questions with regard to the explosions that occurred near the General Intelligence Administration on Dec. 23. Among the most interesting details is when the official state-run media coverage of this event raises doubts about the truth behind what actually happened.

Only in Syria, and from its official state news agency, can Syrians die twice. The first time they are killed in the mentioned explosion; the second time is during “terrorist attacks” in Homs and Damascus, according to the same news agency.

As the Local Coordination Committees (LCC) documents the state’s media fraud, we offer the following information for those concerned with the truth about the Syrian regime’s lies, down to the minute details, of its official stories. NB: The LCC is stating only the names of those whose deaths were reported in duplicate.

A thorough inspection of the Syrian Arab News Agency’s (SANA) reports revealed that 10 Syrian citizens had been martyred twice (all of them were victims of the explosion that targeted two security centers in Damascus on Dec. 23, 2011.
