Local Coordination Committees in Syria
Number of martyrs rose to 36 in Syria today including 3 children and 2 defected recruits and 2 men who died under turture.12 martyrs in Homs,11 martyrs in Idlib,6 martyrs in Daraa,3 in Damascus Suburbs and a martyr in each of BoKamal, Raqqa,Damascus and Hasakeh

Homs
For the second day in a row, security forces and Shabiha are firing arbitrarily at passersby in Bab Draib area to intimidate shoppers along with shop owners to halt all activities. This would in turn increase the economic hardship already experienced in the town.

They youth Naser Fouyran al-Khaldi, from Deir Baalba, was martyred by security forces’ sniper stationed at al- Abasyeh area.

Extrenely intense gunfire from tanks and machineguns by secutiry forces in the Eastern checkpoint and also the one near the Post Office

Some elements of the army defected at the clinic’s checkpoint followed by intense and continuous shooting

Martyrdom of recruit Omar Al-Rashed, from Kafar Yaseen to the East of Heesh Directorate, by security forces’ gunfire because he refused to shoot at the peaceful protesters in Daraa where he was completing his military service.
