Homs: Activist and Local Coordination Committees member Abdulrahman Orafli, 23, was martyred after security forces shot him in Bab Sibaa. Abdulrahman was one of the organizers of the first demonstration in the city on March 18th, which is also the date of his birth. He was detained twice, the first time he remained detained for 18 days. He was the re-arrested for five months, during which he experienced various forms of torture and humiliation and was transferred to several intelligence branches, including the airforce and political intelligence, he was then placed in the central prison. After his release, he returned again to organizing demonstrations in the neighborhood of Old Homs until he was shot by the regime’s security at dawn on Tuesday.
Damascus: A security checkpoint was erected at the Trade (Tijara) Intersection, the road which leads from Adwi to Corniche, resulting in a thorough search of cars.

Idlib: Jabal Al-Zawiyah: Two homes were partially destroyed in Barra town as a result of mortar shells launched by the regime’s army who also launched a survey campaign in the town after clashes between defected recruits (who were stationed at a school checkpoint) which was recently erected in the middle of the town. One of the defected recruit was martyred and we have not known his name yet
