83 Martyrs 21-3-2012

The number of martyrs in Syria has risen to 83 including 14 children and 7 women. In Homs city, there were 45 martyrs, 11 in Hama, 6 in Daraa, 9 in Idlib including one family from Kasanfra town),7 in Deir Ezzor and one martyr in each of Raqqa,Lattakia, Damascus Suburbs (Moudamieh) and a defected recruit form the Occupied Golan who was martyred in Hama.

Damascus Suburbs: Mouadamueh: Heavy security and military deployment in the city, the armors are stationed in Zaitouneh street and the Freedom square, where they randomly opened fire on the houses to terrorize the residents after an evening demonstration started and the security faced it with gunfire

Lattakia: Security forces enforce a curfew in Bustan Saydawi and Sakantori neighborhoods and wage a campaign of home raids in them

Deir Ezzor: Boukamal: Movement of heavy military equipment from Khaled Ibn AlWaleed street, Homs street, and Hurriya (freedom) square as planes fly over the city. Clashes continue throughout various regions of the city amid a complete power outage.

Damascus: Mashrou’ Dummar: The Youth of the revolution distributed about 700 sets of sweets (Mulabbas) on several houses in the area to congratulate the mothers of the martyrs.

Homs: Talkalkh: Baqeea: The regime’s army intensely shells the border town with heavy weaponry, mortar shells and Shilkas amid a mass exodus of families to Wadi Khaled

Homs: Quseir: Several people were injured as a result of very intense shelling which the villages of Jawsiya and Nizariya experienced from tanks and mortar shells and the destruction of several houses

Daraa: Gunfire in the town of Yadouda

Daraa: Nawa: Violent clashes between the Free Syrian Army and the regime’s forces

Damascus: An evening demonstration in Barzeh neighborhood
