Local Coordination Committees in Syria
The numberof Syrian martyrs today has risen to 39. In Idlib alone, there were 26 martyrs of which 8 were executed in the field, 6 in Daraa and 6 in Homs and a martyr in Damascus

Damascus Suburbs: Madaya: Raiding the town by huge military forces backed with heavy machine guns. Many homes were raided, robbed and then properties inside were destroyed. Also, Mahmoud Al-Haddaf was arrested.

Homs: Rastan: A young man and two girls from Lahlah family were martyred when a shell landed on their home

Daraa: Izraa: Many residents of Basr Al-Hareer are fleeing to Izraa city after their town was shelled by security forces for 2 consecutive days

Homs: Violent shelling by rockets at the Khaldiyeh neighborhood, destruction of many homes and injuries were reported

Hama: Hajajieh: Massive security presence and rampant inspection of homes in different areas

Hama: Zahraa Mada’en: Heavy security presence, raids, and rampant inspections are ongoing inside houses and farms

Hama: Lahaya: Security forces are raiding the town and launching a random detention campaign as well as checking of local residents and verifying ID cards

Damascus Suburbs: Moadamiya Sham: Many injuries were reported as a result of gunfire and raid campaigns in many areas of the city especially the Rawda, Zorat Al-Omari and Zaytoneh neighborhoods

Idlib: Jabal Al-Zawiyah: Military reinforcements estimated as dozens of Zill cars, 3 machineries and several tankers were seen heading from Jericho to the Jabal Al-Arbaeen

Hama: Extensive security deployment and checking of cars and individuals in many neighborhoods. Young man Asheq Mansour Al-Mansour, 24, was arrested in the Sawaek neighborhood
Damascus Suburbs: Beit Tima: Activists drew a picture of the Independence Flag and wrote pro-Revolution slogans on the walls of the tehcnical secondary school

Damascus Suburbs: Three UN vehicles were reported on the Daraa-Damascus highway and headed to Daraa, and followed by regime security force
