Local Coordination Committees in Syria:The number of martyrs has risen to 33 thus far; 21 martyrs were reported in Hama, 3 in Damascus Suburbs, 3 in Aleppo, 2 in Homs, 2 in Idlib, 1 in Daraa, and 1 in Damascus

Daraa: Dael: Heavy gunfire from all the regime’s army checkpoints is reported while a demonstration started in the Freedom Square to chant for the activist Mohammad Al-Hariri and disaster-stricken cities

Damascus Suburbs: Hamoria: Powerful explosions shook the city along with heavy gunfire, residents are panicking

Deir Ezzor: Bokamal: Regime’s forces disrupted roads overlooking security branches by setting-up barricades and strengthening checkpoints

Hama: Soran: 15 martyrs and a large number of wounded fell from the violent bombing in the city

Aleppo University: Clashes between demonstrators and security forces in the Faculty of Electricity, and a tear gas grenade was thrown at demonstrators

Idlib: jisr Al-Shoghour: Military justice issued a sentence 20 years prison of you media activist Anas Al-Qatron, who was arrested June 2011, while taping storming the city by the army. Several false accusations were directed to Qatron just for his media activism in covering the city’s events and publishing videos

Idlib: Kouren: Defected Sergeant Staff Mahmoud Abdulqader was martyred by the regime’s forces’ gunfire at Qal’ah Checkpoint

Damascus Suburbs: Hamoria: Two explosions were heard with heavy gunfire in conjunction with military reinforcements entering the city

Idlib: Jisr Al-Shoghour: Intermittent bombing from army’s checkpoints in Badama village near Al-Najia, and on the surrounding agricultural lands

Damascus Suburbs: Harasta: Violent clashes are reported at the vehicles management building

Deir Ezzor: Bokamal: Intermittent gunfire is reported in Taweileh neighborhood

Aleppo: Atareb: Gunfire using a tank’s machine gun is reported at 3 civilians, from Harbnoush village, while they were passing from Atareb. They were severely wounded

Daraa: Taseel: The town was raided from the eastern side

Damascus Suburbs: Daraya: The Military Criminal Court sentenced a group of nonviolent activists from Daraya to spend three years in prison on charges of armed insurrection. The detainees are Mohammad Refaat Zeyada, Monther Elayyan, Malek Muadamani, Ibrahim Khoulani, Othman Awad, Bilal Al-Saqa, Nedal Habeib, and a youth from Mureiden family. The detainees have been arrested since 2011 after being peacefully active in the revolution

Hama: Kawkab: Massive reinforcements arrived around the village accompanied by combing and burning agricultural land amid heavy gunfire

Aleppo University: A sit-in started in front of the Medical Institute to demand the release of detainees and in solidarity with disaster-stricken cities

Hama: A demonstration started in Taweel Market and another one in Marabet; protesters chant for freedom

Homs: Qosair: Heavy gunfire is reported from the Municipal building in the southern neighborhood

Daraa: Edwan: The village was raided from the western side. Sounds of explosions and heavy gunfire was reported

Daraa: Jassim: An explosion is reported in the road of the National Hospital followed by gunfire reported from most of checkpoints set up in the eastern and southern neighborhoods

Damascus Suburbs: Douma: Shelling on Al-Ebb area continues. Heavy intermittent gunfire from heavy machine guns was reported in the areas of Mesraba junction, Sheifonieh junction and Corniche

Hama: Madeeq Castle: Heavy gunfire is reported at the demonstration that started to welcome the UN Observers

Homs: Rastan: Artillery shelling has renewed two hours after the UN Observers left the city
