Local Coordination Committees in Syria:
The number of martyrs has risen to 129 thus far, including women and children slaughtered during the fierce regime shelling in different areas of Hama. 86 in Hama (35 martyrs from one family), 14 in Latakia,
11 in Idlib, 10 in Homs, 5 in Deir Ezzor, 1 in Daraa and Damascus Suburbs.

Damascus: Live ammunition was used to disperse activists when they attempted to seal off the raod in section 11 in Doumar Projects near the road leading to the presidential palace

Daraa: Lajat: Shelling using heavy cannons, and helicopters flying over the area were reported

Damascus: Qadam: An evening demonstration started from Qadam Mosque, security forces attacked demonstrators and conducted a campaign of random arrests

Damascus Suburbs: Douma: A loud explosion was heard in the agricultural area connecting Douma and Harasta.

Hama: Shelling is reported on the villages of Qbeir, Maarzaf and Kafr Zeta, dozens are reportedly martyred and wounded

Aleppo: Shelling continues from the Military College of Artillery on the northern suburbs and columns of smoke are rising from Hayyan town

Aleppo: Darat Azza: Warplanes are dropping missiles on the ancient Saint Simeon’s Castle

Lattakia: Violent Rocket Shelling on the Area

Raqqa: Regime’s army is firing at a demonstration at the Old Hal Market

Hama: Western Suburbs: Massive bombing using tanks, heavy and medium machine guns in Jarjas, Maarzaf, Khirbet Al-Taweem, and Khirbet Al-Kabeer, many wounded were reported

Lattakia: Haffeh: Massive clashes between the Free Syrian Army and regime’s army along with bombing using airplanes, heavy machine guns, and mortars. Fall of wounded and martyrs was reported

Hama: Sahl Ghab: Tweeny Village: Security forces are storming the village and implementing an arrest campaign, where two young men were arrested so far

Deir Ezzor: Security forces burned crops and three houses in Al-Bo Omar area

Daraa: Tafas: Young Iyad Mosaab Al-Soufany was martyred after he was wounded in the head by regime’s army. His funeral wil be after Asr prayer

Idlib: Airplanes are flying over Maaret Al-Nouman, and bombing using rockets and machine guns burned the wheat and barely crops in the area

Idlib: Areha: Two civilians were wounded while riding a car by sniper’s gunfire who were deployed at the rooftops of Qara town

Aleppo: University: A demonstration set out in the university’s square to condemn the shelling at the suburbs and to call for freedom as well as the regime’s ouster

Damascus Suburbs: Intense gunfire at the cities in the Eastern Ghotta: Saqba, Hamouriyeh and Arbeen. Also, a massive explosion was reporte

Damascus: Qalamoon: The UN monitors arrived to the Ruhaybeh city for a visit of ten minutes only where they met the security forces and thugs sent by the regime and disguised in civil outfits

Idlib: Jabal Zawyeh: The international observers have arrived at the village of Awram Jouz where a demonstration started in their presence, demanding the regime’s ouster

Idlib: Jissr Al-Shogour: Machine gun fire was reported, alongside helicopter shelling of the villages of Kinda, Kabati, Akko, and most villages on the Kurdish Mountain

Damascus Suburbs: Douma: The injury of 3 civilians was reported, all of them with very critical injuries. They were injured by shrapnels during the shelling with mortars, when three shells fell on the citizens’ homes in the Ob area

Homs: Hisn Citadel: UN observers arrived to Hisn Citadel and got fired at by Qemer checkpoint. Activists were hardly able to persuade them to see the signs of destruction and regime’s army military manifestations in the area
