Local Coordination Committees in Syria

The number of martyrs in Syria thus far today has risen to 30 among them women and children, most of whom were from Daraa Balad, the martyrs are distributed as follows: 9 martyrs in Daraa, 9 martys in Homs, and one martyr in each of Hassakeh and Daraya in Damascus Suburbs

Daraa: Abtaa: Regime forces raided the city and are using tanks to shell the area. A large number of residents were reported wounded. Regime forces also conducted a campaign of arrests and set fire to residents’ homes. The number of martyrs is thus far unknown

Daraa: Tafas: Most of the residents were displaced to the neighboring villages due to fears of another massacre after the one in Daraa Al-Balad last night

Aleppo: The random artillery shelling continues in the towns of Hayyan and Bayanon with columns of smoke rising. In addition to reports of a mass displacement of the residents

Homs: The regime’s army storms Ghouta neighborhood amid intense gunfire

Daraa: Ebtaa: Security forces burn three homes and wage a raid, search and destruction of personal property campaign amid indiscriminate gunfire

Idlib: Sarjeh: The regime’s army is shelling the city with rockets and heavy weapons

Daraa: Mansour Abazeid, his son Rezq Abazeid and his daughter Rita were martyred as they were being removed from under the rubble in Daraa Balad due to the regime army’s shelling

Homs: The regime’s shabiha slaughtered 5 people with knives in Bab Saba’a including, Nasro Zakraya Islan, 2 young men from Darabeesh and 2 youg men from Hayak and an unidentified young man.

Homs: Qosair: Firce bombing using mortars and heavy artillery towards the villages surrounding the city. Sounds of explosions shook the whole city

Homs: Intense gunfire by the regime’s army during the storming of Ghota neighborhood

Homs: Talbiseh: Random bombing in the city continues, houses and agricultural lands were severely damaged

Female Child Crtically Injured by Regime Forces Shelling Daraa Balad

: Daraa: Regime forces launched a fierce shelling campaign on Daraa Balad, which led to at least 20 martyrs and dozens more injured. Children and women were targeted, including injured women who were kidnapped by regime forces to provoke residents. Several doctors have been detained to prevent them from aiding the wounded amid a state of panic among the people due to the abuses regime forces are committing against the townspeople.
