The Local Coordination Committees in Syria:
The number of martyrs has risen to 140 thus far in Syria, and include 6 women and 12 children. 31 martyrs were reported in Damascus and its suburbs; 29 in Homs, including 10 in Deir Baalba (most of them children) and 5 children from a single family in Rastan; 27 were reported in Aleppo, including 10 prisoners who were field-executed; 19 in Daraa; 15 in Idlib; 10 martyrs in Deir Ezzor, including 4 from the Free Syrian Army; 5 in Lattakia; and 4 in Hama

Damascus Suburbs: Meleha: Indiscriminate shelling with mortars and warplanes was followed by regime forces storming Bardon area. Also,regime forces launched an arrest campaign in Deir Behdel area and
heavy clashes took place in Orouq and Amadieh roads

Damascus Suburbs: Mleiha: The muezzin of the Dalati Mosques was martyred, he was killed and his body was kidnapped by regime’s forces when they stormed, vandalized and burnt the mosque

Daraa: Tafas: Several wounded are reported due to warplane sheling of the city.

Raqqa: Tal Abyad: Free Syrian Army stormed the headquarters of Baath Party in the town

Daraa: Mleiha Sharqiya: Regime’s army stormed the city amid heavy gunfire, it is reported that they raided and looted houses and stores

Homs: Rastan: Three members of the same family were martyred and there were tens of wounded people due to intense rocket and artillery shelling targeting the city, accompanied by outages of water and electricity along with unavailability of bread and baby formula.

Idlib: Saraqeb: Heavy shelling using artilliery, morter and heavy guns on the city

Damascus: Jobar: Three corpses were found in Parliament Sqaure; the bodies were found with their hands tied behind their back, and one of
them had the bottom part of the body cutt of and thrown nearby

Daraa: Lujah: Intense artillery and rocket shelling is nonstop, and targeting villages of the Lujah area

Daraa: Basr Al-Harir: Fierce clashes between the Free Syrian Army and the regime army in Al-Hurriya (Freedom) square in the town’s center.

Lattakia: Alkaret: Reports that some martyrs have fallen and number of injured people as a result if heavy shelling on the village

Aleppo: Forces of the Airforce Intelligence commit a massacre by killing dozens of detainess in the branch

Damascus Suburbs: Kafr Batna: The city is witnessing a mass exodus due to the presence of masses of military and security reinforcements; residents fear the city will be stormed

Daraa: Basr al-Harir: Dozens were injured, among them critical cases, in attempts by securty forces to storm the northern districts of the town amid intense and non-stop gunfire. This is in turn, prevented residents from being able to reach the injured and save them and resulted in intense clashes betwen the Free Syrian Army and the regime’s army. Residents of the town fear an impending massacre

Hama: Sahel Ghab: Intene helicopter shelling of the villages of Jabal Shahshabo

Homs: The number of those martyred in Deir Baalba neighborhood due to intense shelling has risen to 10, most of whom are children. Identified among the martyrs are: Malak Abo Shiffeh, Ahmad Thukoor Kanaan, Emad Abdullah Kanaan, and Ameen al-Yaseen. In addition, several were injured, among them critical cases, and there are no hospitals to save them

Aleppo: Heavy artillery shells the neighborhoods of Hanano and Sakhour

Hama: Several security vehciles have enter Sheikh Anbar neighborhood and are headed towards the Workers Union, forces waged a search and arrest campaign of pedestrians who cross their path

Damascus Suburbs: Intense helicopter and artillery shelling of Sayeda Zaynab, Thayabiya and Hjeira

Deir Ezzor: Mayadeen: The Free Syrian Army has destroyed two BMP armored vehicles belonging to the regime’s army in front of the Military Security building in the city

Deir Ezzor: Renewed intense shelling of Sfeira Tahtani and smoke columns rise in skies due to shelling, in addition several shells fell near the paper factory and in Hosen village

Deir Ezzor: Renewed artillery shelling of the districts of Aarde, Jbeila and Hamidiya

Damascus Suburbs: Jisreen: The number of martyrs in the city has risen to 14, identified among them are: Adnan Mahrous Darweesh, Hasan Al-Taweel, Mohammad Hasan Al-Taweel, Saeed Mohammad Dareel, Anas Majed Al-Shamaa, Mahmoud Salah Rabee, Mudrek Al-Khateeb, Ali Darkhabani, and Mohammad Kheir Reihan; all of whom were from Jisreen, in addition to 5 unidenitified martyrs from outside of the city

Raqqa: Twenty-three elements defected from the Department of Immigration and Passports, the defected Police Chief of the Province safely reached Turkey. This occured as the Military Council of the city announced the liberation of the border town of Sulook

Homs: Rastan: Intense non-stop shelling with rockets and heavy machine guns of the city

Aleppo: Tal Rifaat: Heavy artillery shelling from the Managh military aiport was reported in the city

Hama: Salamiya: Mansour Nasra was martyred and another young man was critically injured due to the explosion of a bomb as they were on their way to work in the region of Zawiya Gharbiya

Idlib: Kafrnabel: Intense helicopter shelling of the city

Damascus:Shaghour:Wave of random raids and arrest by the security forces and new checkpoints were set by the entrance of the neighborhood

Damascus:Mqailbeih:Heavy security deployment and thorough search in Kubra and Maranah checkpoints

Damascus Suburbs: A large number of residents are being displaced following a massive military reinforcement arrival on Ain Tarma, Kafarbatna, and Malieha Road

Aleppo: A number of wounded were reported after fierce artillery shelling in the Qatraji, Sha’ar, Karam Al-Jabal, and Qadi Askar neighborhoods amid a state of panic among residents

Aleppo: Helicopter shelling was reported in the Sheikh Maqsoud district, and a number of shells landed in the ancient English Cemetery
