Three armed patrols attacked the house of the political activist Dr. Mohammed Hazza and arrested him. Dr. Hazza is a known activist in Deir Ezzor and had participated in last month consultative conference known as Semiramis Conference

Security forces launched a wave of raids on houses and arrests in Saida, which resulted in the arrest of more than 30 people because of their participation in demonstrations. On the other hand, a curfew is being applied on Daraa Mahata from 4 pm till 8 am and in Daraa Balad from 12 pm till 8 am

Security Forces, Shabiha (regime’s armed thugs) and some elements of the fourth division launched this morning at 3AM a wave of raids and arrests, accompanied by brutal destruction of homes. Power supply and communications were cut. Security forces installed checkpoints on the entries of the neighborhood and started searching for wanted according to a list they had by stopping all passing by and persons going into the neighborhood amid a wide and intense security and military deployment in the region. Machine guns were installed at the entrances of the neighborhoods and in front of mosques. Jaber al-Ansari mosque was closed and martyr al-Khatib’s family wasn’t allowed to have a public mourning for their son.

Midan
three demonstrations went out today in Midan. First one, from Majed mosque in Zahera and went to Sakheneh square and the second from Dakak Mosque. Both ended without the intervention of security forces. But the third one, that went out in Corniche Street was attacked by the security forces, and several ones of the hundreds of protesters were arrested.

Daraa
10 thousand protesters taking part in the biggest demonstration since the city had been stormed. It is taking place in Qosour neighborhood, and the protesters are chanting in support of Homs and freedom and the toppling of the regime. The demonstration was dispersed by shots in the air. There are no reports about any injuries.

Latakia
