Dignity Strike: We Make Our Revolution With Our Hands
For almost eleven months, the great Syrian people were endeavoring to retrieve their bereft rights and take back their freedom and dignity from the hands of the butchers. However, the Syrian regime didn’t hesitate to use its feral military forces that committed the most horrifying crimes and human rights’ violations to execute this revolution. In the past few days, Assad’s regime was shelling several residential neighborhoods to add more crimes to its teeming record of massacres against this great nation. The new slaughter was in Homs neighborhoods and the number of martyrs increased to 7339 since the beginning of the revolution.

Moreover in an international collusion, Russia and China repeated the use of the Veto right at the Security Council to prevent passing a decree that condemns the violence against the Syrian people by Assad’s regime. Consequently, they announced their continuous support of the bloody regime and the international covering of its brutal crimes.

The Local Coordination Committees, hereby, are calling for the proud Syrian people to participate in the Dignity Strike and join its program which is divided to three stages:
- Announcing the civilian mutiny by striking for two days
- This is followed by an economic strike and formation of procurement consortium
- Preparing for a mutiny in Damascus and Aleppo
