Local Coordination Committees in Syria:
The number of martyrs in Syria today has risen to 57 including 2 children and 4 women. In Idlib province alone, there were 31 martyrs (23 of them were executed in the field in Saraqeb), 12 in Homs, 8 in Hama, 5 in Damascus suburbs and one martyr in Daraa

Aleppo: Izaz: Heavy Shooting by regime forces towards the houses in the city

Idlib: Jabal Zawyeh: Security forces and Shabiha burned 52 houses in Deir Sonbul town in addition to several shops after completely looting them

Hama: Kafr Zeta: Security forces conduct a campaign of raids, inspection and destruction of houses in the city for the third consecutive day, amid a total cut off of cellular and land line communication. Security forces also burned many motorcycles and blocked off parts of the city that suffer from scarcity of food and medical supplies

Daraa: Basr Al-Hareer: Motha Hussein Ali Al-Hariri, in his fifties, was martyred affected from his wounds that he developed recently when security forces directly opened fire at his home. He was shot in his abdomen on the 25th of March then he was arrested while injured and today his corpse was returned

Homs: Several wounded and a number of houses were destroyed due to the fall of five mortar shells on Wadi Arab neighborhood

Homs: Dabousieh: Heavy gunfire by regime forces and fierce clashes between the Free Syrian Army and the regime’s army are reported at a border village near Lebanon

Lattakia: Regime forces are conducting an arrest campaign in the Quneis area, and the siege continues on the Sakantori district.

Damascus Suburbs: Harasta: Arbitrary shooting and explosions are being heard in the Ko’a area. A random detention campaign was launched by security forces in the Bedar neighborhood amid extensive deployment of snipers there

Deir Ezzor: Al-Mayadeen: Security forces conduct a detention and inspection campaign in several locations around Arbeaen Street in the city

Deir Ezzor: Violent clashes between the Free Syrian Army and the regime’s army in al-Tikaya street and Hamidiya. In addition to heavy gunfire reported in Shoakh, and a huge explosion shakes the area of Ghassan Aboud.

Meanwhile, another quick demonstration marched from the same school to disperses the security forces and help the arrested students to escape

Hama: Kafarnboudeh: More than 20 shells during the last few minutes and explosions shake the town and the surrounding areas were reported
