Local Coordination Committees in Syria

By the end of Sunday the LCC documented 183martyrs (including 9 women and 20 children), 60 martyrs were reported in Damascus and its Suburbs (15 of them in Yarmouk Camp, 6 in Hajar Aswad and 4 in Qatana), 45 martyrs in Aleppo (11 of them in Sfera and 8 in Hayan), 32 martyrs in Hama (25 of them in Helfaya), 19 martyrs in Daraa (8 of them were martyred in Tareeq Sad and they are members of the FSA and 5 of them were field-executed in Naema), 10 martyrs in Deir Ezzor, 7 martyrs in Idlib, 4 martyrs in Homs and 1 martyr in Raqqa

The LCC also documented 342 points of shelling, 18 points were shelled fiercely by warplanes, 4 points by barrel bombs, 7 points by Cluster Bombs and 1 point by Phosphorus, the mortar shelling was reported in 144 points, the artillery shelling in 108 points and the missile shelling in 60 points in Syria

The FSA clashed with the regime forces in 133 locations and downed a MiG jet in Eastern Ghouta, the FSA lierated a hospital in Yarmouk Camp belonging to the Main Command and captured big ammount of ammunition, this was followed by defection of more than 230 units of the people’s committees of the Main Command. In Hama the FSA liberated Mashfa checkpoint located in Helfaya and was able to liberate the remains of Infantry School and gain control of it completely, the FSA also stormed Air Force Intelligence Department in Zahra neighborhood in Aleppo. In Deir Ezzor the FSA gained control of Hwaiqa checkpoint

Daraa: Tseel: Renewed artillery shelling is reported in the city by the regime forces

Aleppo: Massive material damage due to felling of many artillery shells in Assan and Thahabiya towns in the Suburb

Damascus Suburbs: Zakiya: Fierce artillery shelling is targeting the residential houses in the town by the regime forces
