Local Coordination Committees in Syria
The number of martyrs in Syria today has reached 126 so far including 10 children. 107 martyrs in the Affected city of Homs, 6 in Idlib” Jabal Zaiweh and Maarat Al-Noman” 10 in Damascus suburbs (Madaya and Zabadany), 2 from Ain Al-Arab (Kobany) in Aleppo and one in Lattakia. These numbers were reported by activists and doctors in the fields in the diefferent areas. We are not able to document the names of martyrs due to the intense shelling

Residents started a sit-in in front of the Criminal Security building in Al-Ashrafia neighborhood to demand the release of the detainees

Regime’s army are deploying in the city and scanning lanes, after an anti-regime demonstration started from Al-Huda mosque after Asr prayer and was dispersed by regime forces with live ammunition

The regime’s forces raided the town this morning amid intense and sporadic shooting and a huge raiding and detention campaign of the civilians’ homes was launched; where many properties stolen and the rest damaged by the army. Security checkpoints were erected all over the town and its vicinty. Snipers were deployed on the rooftops of high private and governmental buildings. A martyr’s family was forced to bury him in the home’s garden under security members’ supervision and they also organized a pro-Assad march in the middle of the town and force some residents to participate. A civilian’s home was exploded and a huge amount of weaponry was brought in then photographed by the Syrian’s regime State Media as tools and acts of armed gangsters to justify for raiding the town which is now strictly sealed off. The town was famous for its daily anti-regime demonstrations

Sound of several explosions in the city along with heavy shooting from heavy machine guns. More than 50 tanks and 20 Zell military vehicles arrived to the city and headed towards Ariha

Several injuries were reported after security forces’ opened sporadic gunfire at the international highway. Also, shooting was heard in Khan Sheikhon’s highway were a convoy of tanks is stationed
