The campaign continues in Jabal Zawyeh since a number of weeks ago, the villages were stormed in a daily manner, mass arrests, basic necessities were cut off to freeze out the many villages in the area after striking Jisr Al-Shoghour and Maaret Al-Nouman and continued threats to residents of Idlib city regarding the continued protests. Damascus also witnessed protests in several districts in the center of and surrounding the city during the funeral of the martyrs in Salihieh and Rukneddin and Barzeh which was attacked by security forces and continued gunfire that led to several wounded and the abduction of one of the wounded. This is the district that suffered an attack and raids and mass arrests that reached over 150 individuals since 2 weeks. Homs is now experiencing a security operation and gunfire in the districts that are still besieged since over 2 months ago. As a result, martyrs and wounded fell. The protests in Homs and Deir Ezzor continue to come out in the thousands and in a daily manner. The living standards is very low in Qatana and Homs and Qaboun since the siege and the security control of distributing food supplies

Large numbers of security forces and Shabiha (regime’s armed thugs) attacked Barzeh neighborhood today after the funeral of the martyr Yazen al-Rais in the presence of more than 20.000 people. Security forces and Shabiha broke down the tent, tore up martyrs pictures and prevented people from offering condolences. They are now roaming in the area and checking identities randomly raising citizens fears of new wave of raids like those that happened two weeks ago when about 160 people were arrested after raiding their homes.
