3 confirmed Martyrs from Deir Ezzor among them is a child who’s 13 years old
The regime is insisting to use force, security and military although the army members are refusing orders
The military operation continued in Deir Ezzor since the besieged of the city few days ago. The forces are storming the neighborhoods injuring and killing many people. The eastern city has and exclusivity being separated from other part of Syria by the Syrian Badia, the difficulties in exchanging military troops and the communication difficulties between people – which is the method used by the regime- helped more soldiers, officers and army officers to split in, they left their weapons and joined people. They refused shooting peaceful people which is something happening for the second time since Jisr Al-Shoghour

This is happening while reports have come through about waves of raids and arrests done by security forces which break into the houses while firing their weapons to terrorize the residents who are threatened to be killed if they try to stop the intruders from arresting them. Whole families have been arrested including children. This has happened in many places such as Damascus Suburbs, Idlib, Homs, Hama.

Detainees and wanted people numbers are increasing along with the torture they are under, the settlement of their leagal issues has to be made and opening the political arrest file in prelude to close it for forever is now urgent and many programs were started to highlight this national issue and mobilize media, human rights and people’s support that is needed to force the regime to back down on these Practices, such as: Detainees week campaign and it’s activities in the DC and the center for documentation of violence

Homs
heavy continuous shooting in khalidiyeh since 6.30 in the morning, security forces seal off all roads heading to city center

Heavy gunfire accompanied by a wave of raids and arbitrary arrests of people as young as 15 year-old in Al-Bayada borough. The houses were broken into and the contents of the houses are destructed or stolen by the seciruty forces. The borough is under a very tight siege at the moment with armed vehicles positioned at all key road junctions and a new security checkpoint set up near Al-Noor mosque. Another wave of arrests took place in Al-Khalidiya where people where arrested from their homes or at the security checkpoints. There are reports of several injuries by gunfire from snipers and armed men on streets.

more than five thousand army soldiers and security agents invaded the city at 7.30 in the morning while frequently shooting live bullets and arresting more than 100 people. A child has died today at Boukamal Hospital because of the electricity cut in the city which led to the medical devices stopped working. In addition several people were kiled yesterday: Bilal Yousef Al-Mheisen, 17 year-old disabled shot in the abdomen; Kareem Saleh Al-Marka, 35 year-old shot in his flank. That accompanied a wave of arbitrary arrests during the raiding of houses and intemittent gunfire

Deir Ezzor
tens of tanks and soldier carriers are now invading the Joura neighborhood accompanied by random firing from 500 machine guns and cannons shelling the western side of the city (the Tob neighbourhood). There are news of casualties in the Sunniyeh and Al-Tob on the Aleppo road. The army also invaded the Tabani and Al Kharita villages and there is a complete communication blackout on some neighborhoods

Martyr Omar Ibrahim Abdan was a soldier who was executed by shabiha (regime’s armed thugs) gangs for refusing to shoot at demonstrators, his body was delivered to his family in Tadef in Aleppo suburbs. The official story is that he was killed by armed gangs, after opening the coffin his family noticed that there is a bullet shot from behind the neck penetrating the jaw bones, this shows that he was killed directly from near destination which conflicts with the security story about his death, the people are very angry and marched in massive demonstrations, the funeral was huge chanting to topple the regime
