Baba Amer, Martyrs neighborhood
The army resumed shelling Baba Amro, the neighborhood that emerged with the begining of the revolution as the first neighborhood in Homs being stormed into right after Daraa, Douma, and Banias. The world was shocked by the number of martyrs who fell in Baba Amro and by the destruction that happened there. However, Baba amro which is under siege since then was able to gather its strength with other adjacent neighborhoods like Inshaat, Bab al-Sibaa, and al-Khaldeah. All these districts were exposed to a military security attack which could not break the will of their people even though the daily annoyance has become unbearable. Today, tens of martyrs fell in Homs, saqba, Idleb Suburbs, and other towns where the military is adopting a new strategy that spreads operations in different regions in the same day to generalize the ordeal. In addition, today’s arrest campaign was directed particularly towards Douma. Syrians are still emphasizing on the peacefulness of the revolution, on their unity and consolidarity, on their relying on their own strength. However, the international community’s support will hasten the end of their suffering and the removal of the brutal regime. That’s why Syrians in their demonstrations salute all the countries that withdrew their ambassadors and who condemned the Syrian regime and rejected its legitimacy as Syrians already did. We are waiting for the international community to stand in solidarity with the Syrians against the regime in order to stop the killing, withdraw the regime’s legitimacy, and to force it to step aside by using all means whether economical, informatory, or diplomatic.

A demonstration took off from Al-Rahman mosque in Al-Tabiat. A wave of arbitrary arrests is taking place in Slaibeh after takbeer started in the borough. Al-Yaseen mosque is besieged in Al-Qala’a neighbourhood to prevent demonstrations from taking place
